Get Organized Cricut Crawl

Hello everyone and welcome to the Get Organized Cricut Crawl hosted by Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog

You should have arrived from Cicily's blog, Pink Dalmatians Scrapbooker. If you just happened to stop by make sure you start HERE! You don't want to miss a thing :-)

For my project today I decorated a tin can to store my washi tape.
My collection of washi tape is small so this is why it worked for me lol

I just used an scrap paper, a few stickers and the All Mixed Up cartridge
Look around your home to find hidden gems :-)
The banner shapes are actually stickers from Echo Parks Hello Summer Kit.
The lined paper is from DCWV's Vintage paper stack.
I welded the words "Washi" and "Tape"
-sorry for the picture, my Gypsy screen is a teeny bit dirty hehe
I rotated the words to fit into my scrap paper.

Your next stop is Diana over at Daisylove Creations

Hi Friend CD case

Hello, hello ♥

Over at Joy's Life Design Team blog we will be showing you many Glittery & Bright Color projects! I decided to decorate one of Joy's CD cases. My friend is going on a road trip so I thought it would be a great idea to give her a mix tape in this decorated CD case holder.
The sentiment is from Joy's Life All Around Sentiments stamp set.
It fit perfectly in one of Echo Park's circle stickers. The scallop circle, flag, camera, and snap shot stickers are from the Echo Park's Everyday Eclectic kit.
The yellow chevron pattern paper is from Echo Park's Hello Summer kit.
The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl Jam. I just love it! It's from their Season bundle, I'm not exactly sure of the name, but I believe it's Summer Sprinkles.

Don't forget to stop by Joy's Life DT blog all week to see different bright and glittery projects!

Have a fun, crafty day!

Holiday Treats

Happy Monday everyone! This week you will be seeing the design team over at Joy's Life  show you different tips and techniques. The technique I used is dry embossing with ink. I saw Joy use this a long time ago and finally got around to using it! You can see it HERE

Here is my candy tube. :-)

I made the tags with my corner chompers.
I inked one side of the embossing folder.
It comes out with a distressed look.
Here is the treat holder again.
The sentiment is from the Wintery Puns stamp set, an oldie but a goodie.
Aren't these tubes perfect for holding candy? You can find them at Joy's store, just click Craft Containers.

We are a great pear

Hello everyone! This week Joy's Life Design Team will be showcasing projects that include food.
With the holiday rush you might not have time to make a big breakfast, but who says you can't make a quick and thoughtful one?
Before we headed to do some shopping Saturday I made my hubby a quick Nutella and pear toasted sandwich along with a card. He truly is the best because he's so patient with my crafting addiction hobby ;-) We really are a great "pear".

This sentiment is from Joy's Yummy Puns stamp set. This set is so fun!
As hard as I tried I could not get a good photo with both the card and sandwich together. We've been having rain and overcast these past days.
The card base is my absolute favorite shaped card from a cartridge. It's from Wild Card cartridge. The pears are from the From My Kitchen cartridge. I can't remember which cartridge the bows are from, I just hit the search button on the Gypsy and searched bow.
The pattern paper is from Echo Park. Here you can see the pears are on foam for dimension.

Have a fun, crafty day!

snowflake gift box

Hello, hello.
This week's challenge over Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog is to create a project using a snowman or a snowflake

I know I've said all of the boxes I've been making are easy, but this one truly is the EASIEST and FASTEST one to make!

The box is from the Wrap It Up cartridge.
Here's another look at this easy peasy box. The paper is from DCWV's Ultimate Stack.

Don't open til the 25th trifold card :-)

Hi everyone!
Over at Made Especially for You we have a super easy challenge. All you have to do is create a Christmas card using a die cut. I actually created this card almost entirely out of die cuts. :-)
The scallop and stitched circle are dies from My Creative Time. The sentiment "Oh Christmas Tree" and the tree itself are from My Creative Time's All Around Christmas stamp set.
The twine is from Trendy Twine
The card base itself is also a die cut. I used My Creative Time's 3x3 Trifold card die. The sentiment on the front of the card, "Don't Open til the 25th!" comes with the card die.
The heart is a die that comes with MCT's 100% Sweetness stamp set.
The sentiment "All hearts go home for Christmas" is from MCT's Mixed Holiday Sentiments
I cut part of the trifold card to cover the inner flap because the twine was a little bit distracting on this side.

Don't forget to join the challenge HERE for a chance to win one stamp set from Whimsical Designs - winner's choice!

Thank you for stopping by!

Happy Holidays Blog Hop

Hello everyone and welcome to Joy's Life Design Team Happy Holidays Blog Hop! You should have arrived from Laura's blog, Laura's Crafts & More. If you just happened to stop by, make sure to start at Joy's Life! You don't want to miss a thing!

I've really been enjoying making treat holders and when I saw the pillow boxes that Joy carries I just knew I had to use them for Christmas treats! You can get some HERE, just click on craft containers. :-)
Decorating this pillow box was so easy, fast, and fun! You see that cute snowman? He's from the brand new stamp set Oh, Christmas Puns! I stamped him on a small rectangle mat and used copic markers to color him. Then I used my corner chomper - 1/8 rounder to round the edges. After, I used Tim Holtz Dried Marigold distress ink to ink around the edges of the mat.

This "fa la la la la" sentiment is also from Oh, Christmas Puns stamp set! This set is exploding with cuteness right?!
For the back I used a Martha Stewart punch for the edges and the paper is from My Mind's Eye.

Time for Blog Candy!
Peachy Keen's Boy Mate's 1 1/8th stamp set.

On the first day of Christmas... :-)

Hi everyone!
I have seen many 12 Days of Christmas, 25 Days of Christmas, and December Daily projects all over bloggy world and Instagram so I decided to give it a try.
My goal is to do "12 Days of Christmas" but if I can keep up with 25 even better!

I haven't done layouts in a LONG time and I couldn't find my mojo, but I was able to make this quick easy layout. I might add tags or a little something later on.
I still haven't mastered photographing layouts, but working on it :-)
Deets:
"Sweet Holiday Wishes" is from Winter Frolic
Penguin - Create a Critter.
Santa Hat - Pooh and Friends (It's flipped) and has Crystal stickles.
Face on Penguin - Peachy Keen's Critter Faces

Thank you so much for stopping by!
