Gift Card Holder

Happy Fridayyy! Last Friday of the year! How exciting! I want to show you a gift card holder I made for my brother in law. I used the gift card holder cut from the Cindy Loo cartridge and welded the border from the Art Philosophy cartridge :)
The sentiment is not straight at all lol I did this at the last minute.... so I didnt get a chance to do another one :( the Sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Winter Wishes stamp set. I distressed all around the border of the paper using Tim Holtz Winter Edition Distress ink pads. loooove them !
This is how it looked when first cut.
The final product. Again, I used the same distress inks to ink around the edges of the paper.

I wish I could explain this to you detail by detail, but I'd be terrible and plus, it's been done :) Click here to check out the Scrappin' with my bug's video on how to make gift card holders.

Thank you so much for looking and have a fantastic day!

Smash Book :)

Hello and good morning! I'm up early, have some final gift wrapping and gift card holders to make. Hopefully I have time to post 'em up! Anywhoo... I found a new addiction and wanted to share it with you guys :P I'm probably behind on this, but I think its pretttty cool hehe It's the Smash journal from K & Company... its like scrapbooking minus the layouts... just... err... smashing lol here, watch the video :)
I started mine and have been trying to use all my pre-cricut stickers, but I couldn't leave little ol' mr cricut :)
It's really not as thick as it looks, I had forgotten to take some photos out.
I just added stickers to the title page. :)
Here, I used "Love" from the Sweethearts cartridge and My Creative Time's 100% Sweetness stamp "My ♥ is with you!" stamp
This cute little sun guy is from the Doodlecharms cartridge, stamped with the cute face from Peachy Keen's The Cornies assortment. Below that is "You are my sunshine!" from MCT's Turn That Frown Upside Down stamp set.

Sorry for the bad pictures, but thank you so much for looking! If I don't post later, I wish you all safe and happy holidays!

Christmas Tag

Good morning! This weekend I got to play with my new toys for just a little bit hehe
I made a tag using my new [amazing] Art Philosophy cartridge. I used my Tim Holtz Winter Edition distress inks to distress it a bit. I started off by distressing all around the tag with Iced Spruce, then the corners with Evergreen Bough, and lastly adding the Festive Berries red to the remaining parts of the tag. I used the crop-a-dile big bite for the eyelet.

This girl and her wine glass is from My Creative Time's Keepin' It Classy set.
The sentiment is from Pink By Design's Winter Fun set.
Here is the back of the card. Same process for the distressin'. Im a newbie at distressing, but loving it!  Oh and did I forget to mention, I used my new Imagine for the paper? It's from the Imagine More cartridge. :)

Thank you for stopping by!

LO with Sophisticated

Hiya guys :) So how was you black friday shopping?? I scored some carts at michaels and loads of paper! I was one of the lucky ones to get 1 out of 3 Imagines at my walmart...but my cartridge was defective, so now waiting on a new one :( now I have to find time to use it all hehe
One of the cartridges I got was Sophisticated and here goes :)
All of the cuts are from the Sophisticated cartridge [Except the hearts]

I also took advantage of Emma's sale over at My Creative time! I got the 100 % Sweetness set with this adorable heart die and coordinating stamp. love it!
I sprayed the frame with Perfect Pearls Mist in Perfect Pearl, but I think I may have sprayed a little too close hehe its all a learning process
See, a little blotchy but in real life it still looks pretty cool :P
Same with the birds: the one on the right, I sprayed it with Perfect Pearls Mist in pink, but I cant remember the name of it :( and its barely visible :/
Even the font on this cartridge is beautiful :)
Thanks for reading!!
